Drowning In Emotions

The door slowly creaked and Remus hobbled inside. He walked straight to the bar where he reached over and took a bottle. The barman wasn't to be seen so Remus put what money he had and left it on the bar.

Shadow pushed the door open slowly. she walked in with a baby girl in her arms. She looked around and saw remus and walked over to him.
"Hello Remus"

Remus was swigging the drink when he heard her. He jumped and turned around like a child caught with that hand in a cookie jar. "... Shadow?... what are you doing here.... and who is that?" he asked looking to the bundle in her arms.

Remus looked ill his eyes shadowed and sore looking, his pale a pastey white, He also had more greys brought on from the stress and he had gotten a bit chubbier since they last met, many months a go...

She sighed softly seeing the drink "i came to see you funnyly enough,..."
Shadow summoned Serena baby basket and lay her init "this is my daughter Serena"
she looked at him "Remus you look ill please come stay at my cottage and dont drink you know it doenst help anything"
the love for him showed still in her eyes.

"I am allowed a drink.. specially after what I have been through." he sat at the bar and got himself a glass and poured some of the whiskey out, ".. I didn;t even know you were expecting.."

"Fenrir's? I am surprised you kept it.. I couldn't have a child if I would think it had a risk of being.. well like us, cursed.. " He looked over to the baby and then back to her ".. but I am sure you are a good mother, best it could have.."

Shadow new these word she had hard them before and it hurt her though it didnt show "I couldnt kill her before she had a chance to live remus even if she is like us" she stroked Serenas cheek softly tears forming in her eyes slowly.
"im more scared of what greyback will do when he finds out i gave birth"

"..The only way he will find out is if you tell him... " he said having some more drink. "..As long as you keep away from the forest you will be safe, I suggest you go to Number 12.. stay there for a few weeks..."

"im not going back to number 12 i dont belong there..."
she sighed placing moeny down for a firewisheky and drink it rather quickly.
"Remus....do you know what happens once werewolves mate?"

He shook his head "no.. I wouldn't think there would be any diffence from any othre creature." He rubbed his eyes and poured out some more whiskey into his glass before gulping it down in one

Shadow paid for another three firewishkeys.
She looked at him the the bottle of drink "Greyback when he turns next time he will search me and serena out"

"It was a full moon a couple of nights ago.. he didn't find you then so I am sure you will be fine as long as you stay away from the forest..." he stood up from the stall and took the bottle. He swayed a little as he walked over to the sleeping baby.

Serena woke slowly smiling up at Remus giggling. She had Feniri's eyes andhaur colour.

Shadow sighed softly "she was only born yesterday Remus she is only a day and a half old.
