a cosy inn

Gabriel looked up at the pup sighn reading the white hart he had frequently been a patron to this pub for over 60 years now it was quite and cosy the muggles paid him no head as long as he did not interfear with them he took his usual table by the fire and ordered a drink from the old inn keeper who knew him well and kept his vapire secret to himself and hurried of as gabriel sighed how long would this contact be? he didnt want top be around to long.

Hunter wondered aimlessly down the small street although Cars still passed frequently and still the ocassional pedestrian hurried by, Hunter had just to visit a contact, at her home, Ministry business. he glaced to his watch under the street lamp, is throat dry, he glanced around the was pub near by, he would have a few drinks perhaps then head home, turnign down the seprate roade he reached the nearest pb, and pushed open the door, a few girls shot him looks, Veela traits, which he was somtimes irritated at, he sighed silently and headed to the bar and ordered a beer, then he paied the man, and took his drink to a lone table in the corner by the window, he glanced around generally spotting a particular pale gentleman, compared to the others, he continued looking around and gently lightly casted out his senses, the man, the pale one, he sensed was of magical ability, and eerily un-human, he frowned lightly his gaze however on his beer which he sipped he then pulled the local newspaper to him and pulle dout his fine linded reading glasses putting them on he begun to flip throught the paper idly.

Gabriel payed small intrest to the man entering and thoght veela all over the place the old bartender broght his dring a glass of scotch with the bottle so it could be refilled when wished he smiled at the old man and handed him some money and wispered something in the old mans ear the old man left and poured a shot of wiskey and gave it to hunter "compliments of the gentlemen" he said

Hunter looked up as the bartender approached, he looked over his glasses, then removed them he followed the Bartenders gesture and Hunters green eyes landed on the man as to whom he had sense with eeriness Hunter nodded and took the glass he held it to the gentleman and downed the small drink the taste strong in his mouth, he studied ocassionaly the man again thoughtful, and wary as it was of course his job to do so.

gabriel nooded back and looking upon the mans curiosity he smirked and thoght about saving he man time he rolled back the sleeve and bared his left forearm bearing a dark mark and grinned bearing obvious vampire canines he walked over with his drink and bottle "thoght id save you some time" he sat down next to hunter "im Gabriel" he offered his hand to shake

Hunter's eyes glanced to the dark mark he was very tempted to reach for his wand now, yet a public display was not the best option, he looked to the man as he appraoced and with it the outstrected hand, He eyed it catiously, there were people onlooking, with his jaw a fraction taught, Hunter took the mans hand and briefly shook it before puling his hand back all to wich as casually as he could "Hunter Niall" he replied in introduction.

"its nice to meet you Hunter and dont worry i wont strike if you dont i like this place its been good to me the past 60 years" he smiled looking around "which begs the question what would a ministry official be doing so far of the beaten track" he asked quite curious

Hunter sat back in his chair "May I ask how you know that?" he questioned but answered "if you must know, I was talking to a cilent, she had been having trouble, and I went to visit to find what news and or gossip there is" he stated matter-of-factly his voice flawlessly british, with perhaps a just noticable scottiche twinge on the end of certain words "I could also ask the same" he said studying the man "What would a Vampire be doing?" out of curtersy her lowered his voice as he said Vampire

"i have knowledge on most things i like to keep tabs on those who should be keeping tabs on me" he pondered his drink for a second before finishing it and reaching for the bottle to refill it "i was in the neigborhood talking to a contact about some artifacts and thoght id stop by ive known the landlord since he was 19" he looked over at the old man "hes been a good friend to me over the past 60 years"

Hunter nodded and sipped his beer "another question, why is it you wish to talk to thouse who could wind up putting you in Azkaban, do you not think you are takign a bit of a risk reveling yourself so openly?" he questioned taking another sip as he studied the man again.

"i dont like hiding anymore ive done it to long" he pondered over his long extensive life "look over at the landlord thereas said ive known him most of his life he has aged terrible and then look at me i have looked the same way since the first day he met me" he smiled weakly "when all of you have finished fighting you will all die and i will live on i cant die natuarally so im tired of secrets and fighting im not bothered if you arrest me"

"I go by proof rather then asumptions, and I know of ways how to kill a Vampire, it won't be done by me of course, but there are ways" he shrugged and sipped his beer "I do not wish to create and scene, your are right, we shall die, ture, but i'd rather die the live for eternity seeing all thoughs I love wither and die before me, knowing there nothing I can do to stop it."

"And thus my calamity im in love with a mortal she has a long life to live but she will die and even if we could last we would be frowned on a werewolf vampire romance is deemed impossiple" he sighed and took a drink "its a hard life to live as a vampire" he took up the bottle and refilled his glass and turned it to hunter "want one?"

Hunter nodded and held out his glass to the bottle, he frowned at the topic "Live should not be forbidden no matter whom or what you are, Love is a nesscatiy that many need in order to feel, if you do not love you are nothing but a shell, who lacks in the ability, but that shell can be filled eventualy if one gives it the chance" he shrugged absently.
