Head Mistress Office

She paced her office floor. If Hunter ratted..she would lose her job and Remus would lose his freedom. Not to mention Hunter and her would not have a chance and there was so much chemistry between them. She felt like crying and drinking herself into a coma. But knew she had to keep it together for all their sakes.

She had to talk some sense into Hunter. So she sent for him after several shots of firewhisky to calm her nerves.

Hunter had of course recived word of the headmistress wantign a word, he could only guess what it was about, he said the pass word the gargoyle moving aside he begun to climn the accending stairs, he wore a casul muggle attire as usual a black turtle neck jumper that fittes his frame snugly, it kept him warm given the bitter cold air, he to wore plain jenes and shoes his hair ruffled and his cheeks flushed after havign a walk in the ground to clear his head, his jaw was set, he felt a jitter of nerves stirring, reaching the door he knocked polietly and waitied

Her head jerked to the door as she heard the knock. She smoothed out her midnight blue robes and took a deep breath before asking him to come in. She stood by the window wringing her hands. She felt sick and uneasy. Her mind a jumble of thoughts and feelings.

"Come in", she said hoping her voice wouldn't crack from her nerves being frayed.

He opend the door and stepped in the office shutting the door behind him s his hands in his pocket as he stood and waited for a moment the silence strected a fraction then he spoke "You sent for me Professor Gryffindor?" he asked his voice formal and flat, his hands within his pockets where clutched into fists of nerves

At his in formalness...she felt she had lost him. Her heart broke for many reasons. There was so much to lose. More than she was willing to give up..him for one.

"Would you like a drink", she asked before taking a seat..not sure if she could sit at this moment. Looking at him and wanting him...yet wanting her friend safe as well. Would he let her lose her job and let Order member go to Azkaban? It was almost more than she could bare.

He watched her silently waiting for her to speak yet the offer of a drink took him by small surprise, "A small one, thank you" he said settling in the chair infront of the desk, he folded his legs, one ankle resting atop his knee, his hands placed together in his lap he glanced around avoiding direct eyecontact. the feeling of wanting crept over him, awquardness was heavy.

She poured him a drink and with a slight shaking hand she handed it to him and then sat down herself.

"It seems our relationship, friendship has been compromised. I haven't sleep. I don't know how we are to come to a agreement. i just know remus cannot go to azkaban for soemthing he could not control. he is a gentle man...who's had horrible harddhips. then theres you. I won't pretend I don't care for you. I do, which makes this even painful. Is there not some kind of agreement we can come to. If you want me to step down as Head of Hogwarts..I will...just please spare Remus."

Hunter took his drink gratefully and sipped it " he rested the glass then on his leg, looking to it thoughtfull he turned the glass on his knne watching as the light caught it he heard Pandora speak equally formal, it was difficult as it was. he sighed slolwy and shook his head aslo slowly "there is nothing.." he stated"I don't want to see anyone end up in Azkaban, it's bad enough myself jus visiting the dreadful place, Professor Remus Lupin wouldn't be sent there he would evidentlayy be destoryed.."he said softly looking only to his glass

"DESTROYED", she yealled, before coming to sobs. "I'll leave here and take him away..you'll never see or hear from us again, cried."

"Please", she sobbed? "Hunter you can't let this happen to him", she said turning from him as tears flowed freely.

"I'm offering anything to save my friends fate, same as I would for you", she said her voice breaking.

"Please don't do this to us. do you not feel anything for me", she asked heartbroken?

he closed his eyes his head down a lump forming in his throat he swallowed and finsihed of his drink putting it on the desk he opend his eyes and looked away and down from her, an unknown Pain hurt, in his chest deep, his heart perhaps?

"I'll shall see to it done humanly as possibele.." he whispered his eyes hurting the pain in his chest aching he winced a fraction at her tone and the clear pain he continued as strongly as he could "If you help him Pandora you will be sent to Azkaban...the Ministry will not hesitate.." he said softly

he closed his eyes again at her words, yes, he did he knew that deeply, his heart ached for her, wanted her, the once chance one being he found fatally attracted to, there relationships was already fding and slipping between his grasp, he was silent the three words long to pass his lips but he bit his tounge it would onlay make it harder, could her/ could he truely tell?

She looked to him horrified. She could never remember being more horrified than she was at this moment. She came to his side...crying..uncontrolably. "Why do you tear me heart out so? I cannot, nor will I let this happen. You have all the power now. My heart and life is in your hands. Can you not have any compassion", she said pain searing her throat?

"Please let me handle this situation. The girl was asked to not go into the forrest. She is a death eater, we found the mark in the hospital wing..no doubt goign to meet the others."

he glanced to Pandora the pain clear, he had to look away "i'm trying to do what right.." he mumbbled "dark mark or no, she is still a child, a student now a werewolf to be, I am compassionate..I have to be it within my nature" he stated he closed his eyes at her pleades although he had the power as such he was torn betwene his two loyaties the job he had worked long for all his lifes work, or the woman he ahd met, barey knew, and who had the unatural lure and grasp of his heart, he raised hsi head to look at the high cealing and sighed, could he? he turned his gaze and head to face Pandora the pained look she bore hurt him, odlly it hurt him to see her in pain...

She turned from him and walked to her desk. Conjuring a bag she started putting her belonging in it. "I thought you were different. I have never known someone who could break my heart in such a short time, she said as continued to pack her things away.

he listend to her averting his gaze for a moment thoughtful Could he? the questioned echoed like a ghost in his mind, he looked to the glass, images flashed, a big house, a few drinks, the bed, between the covers, the sensations and noises the passion that had been locked away recently released..he looked up to Pandora once again, was he deny his own happiness? the only chance he had at a life was he throwing it away, he stood, he moved around the desk and placed a hand over the top of hers stopping her he looked down to her hand the small tingle flared "You have my word, and my heart..I won't tell a soul.."

She dropped everything at his words and turned to him, throwing her arms around his neck. Joyfully with tears of happiness..."Thank you..thank you. I knew my heart wasn't wrong."

he took his hand back and stumbbled a fraction under the hug he paused for a moment registering the situation he sighed, what had he truely got himself into, slowly he raised his arms and wrpapped them around her firmly, he stared out of the window behind her, it was risky he knw that but he wasn't going to deny a chance to life, and to happiness

She released her hold...."Sorry I didn't mean to take you by suprise. I promise to deal with this..Remus has left the grounds. But what you should know is he isn't the only werewolf in the forest. there is Finrir and his pack as well. the problem is well bigger than just Remus."

She then looked up to his eyes. "Is it bad to say my heart longs for your company? I was so afraid of losing you."

"No it's fine" he said then almost reluctantly he removed his arms from around her, he nodded "Yes, I know you will" he murrmered thoughtful still he moved from her and begun to pace a fraction as he listend to that about Fenrir "thats were he got to" he sighed and stopped turnign to face her "If I report this to the ministry the issue of Greyback..they will result in action, you being one, and then it may lead onto the order, and then...Remus.." he said finding it slightly hard to get around the name wiht ne meaning "and it could all go wrong" he sighed and looked up to her, meeting her gaze at her words, slowly he smiled slightly and shook his head "no, it's not bad of you.." he paused "I felt the same.."

"Then lets deal with this problem together...you are in the Order..The Order will deal with the werewolves. I never want to be on the oppsite side of you again. I know with all my heart now..I.. she stopped as he said he felt the same.

"Hunter..I know it's been a short while for us and all. But i can say with all my heart. I am in love with you", she said blushing slightly.

he nodded, in agreement looking away for a moment only then back to her he smiled his head tiltied slightly he looked up to her with his eyebrows a fraction rasied he smiled further gently and straightend with small new found confidence he headed over to herhis warm soft hands cupped her face gently as he looked to her seriously and sincere "I know, it was..painful almost to see you hurting..the choice I had to make.." he sighed and shook his head alittle "I'm sorry for hurting you like that, clearly...Remus..means alot to you, I'm sorry for how insensitive i was, placing my job before the only chance at a life and happiness i'd probly ever get, i think i made the rigth choice anyway" he smiled alittle the corner of his mouth just lifting into a slanted smile "I think i'm In love with you too" he said then suddenly spontaneously he pressed his lips to Pandoras waiting ones in an passionate sealing of loyalty.

She smiled from the inside out and met his lips hungerly and passionately. Her senses lost. There was only her and him and here and now. She was complete in his arms and his warm kiss.

nothing could ever be the same now that they had met. There was no turning back.

he continued to kiss her for a moment before slowly breathlessly he pulled back, breathign heavy his forehead rested against her he smiled slightly and chuckled "sorry.." he amended dropping his hands from her face slowly and pulling back properly "we just have a small fight then an understanding and I jump you" he chuckled again "sorry.."

She laughed. "A pleasant jump", she reminded him and pulled him back to her...touching his lips with her own. Hungerly...passionately.

Her arms intwind around him..her heart beating happily for once.

surprised again, he moved to her as he was pulled, lips met his suddenly fierce and passionate, his eyes fluttered close he relaxed returning the kiss equally, his lips melting with her, fitting perfectly made for the others, so it seemed, his hear rate he felt increas rapidly, thumping in his chest a rush of adrenaline filled him in response he deepend the kiss his arms wrapping around her back holidng her to him, his head tilted slightly makign it easier for the both of them.
