A Grimmauld Christmas

Remus gave a nod and sat down on the couch. He rested his head back and closed his eyes, the house still had the feeling of how it did before, when the voilence and harshness ocurred.

He opened his eyes and looked over to the fire "you might away well bring a bottle in, save going in and out.." he said to Pandora before closing his eyes again in deep thought.

She smiled as she walked to the bottle of whiskey..'Aye..feel the same", she said bring him the bottle and a glass. She picked a blanket up from the back of the chair, laying it over Remus's legs. "You need to get warm", she sad walking to the cabinet pouring herself a glass of wine.

She then turned back to remus..."Do you have any idea why harry flipped out like that Remus..this really scares me. The boy seems unstable."

She came and sat down in a chair by the fire.

"I don't know, I just heard him saything something about his parents, and that was it.. and the way he acted towards Albus, Harry couldn't expect me to just sit there and no say anything.. and for him to insult me.. and Hermione and Ron too.. well I have had it. I really have.." he said through clenched teeth.

She frowned as she listened to his words... 'I know", she said agreeing with him. "I just don't know what to do about it right now. I'm still in shock it even happend, she said sipping her wine.

"Just hang in there Remus. You still have the Orders support. They're just a bunch of brats, whom need to leanr respect."

Ron wasn't trying to take notice of her, knowing how much emotional and physical stress she had been under. He sighed, wanting to break the uncomfortable silence but didn't dare, didn't have enough courage - not yet anyway. He walked next to her, He was determined not to loose Hermione too, he loved her deep down. "Yeah." He agreed."You said the right thing." He bit his bottom lip and bowed his head."Me too but I'm useless as always, I was asleep." He confessed feeling guilty. Seeing the tears, Ron nodded."It was obviously..V-Voldemort." He managed again, shaking his head."No he has not you, you and Harry have done nothing." He said louder, in a strong tone. He kept his arm around her not really caring what she believed she needed, he knew he had to be there to make up for not being with Harry. He hugged her back, slightly startled and stroked her hair carefully."Come on Hermione, everything will be fine, I promise.." He murmured, wrapping her to him but walking back to Grimmauld and it didn't take long, he stood looking at the house holding her close."Let's get some stuff.."

Remus nodded and took his drink and gulped it down in one, He shuddered from the taste and pushed himself up after hearing the knock. He groaned wondering who it was, and still feeling a little tender.

He hobbled down the corridor till he came to the door. He unlocked it and slowly opened it and looked down at both Hermione and Ron ".. what is it?" he asked still clearly upset by them both.

A while later the same owl returned with a note attached, it hooted once again to Pandora outstrecthing its leg:

Pandora,

Everything is fine, Harry is safe and fine, just certain issues arose, which for sake of things i cannot mention in this letter, we are on are way back, relax, please take it easy, we shall see you soon, Harry is coming with me.

Remus slowly moved aside for them to come in, his face stern and not looking at all happy with the pair. He let Pandora deal with them before leaving the door way and walking back into the living room where his food and drink was sat waiting. If they weren't going to say sorry for what they did, then he wasn;t going to have anything to do with them..

Remus looked around as he heard her speaking to Pandora, and remembering the looks she just gave him again, Remus was close to losing his temper, it felt as if she was rubbing it in to him and he was tired and sick of it.

He got up with his wine and stood in the door way looking at them ".. you don't mean it, you should be saying sorry to me, but you clearly won't, seeing as you are all better than something like me.."

".. you won't what?" he said looking at them in turn, tapping a finger on the glass as he examined them and stood in deep thought. ".. you said you were standing up for a friend... well I was standing up for my friends who died fighting so you lot could have better life and Harry...you are all ungreatful." he said calmly, but with the anger and upset in his eyes. "..I think Pandora agrees with me on this.."

Remus was too upset and enraged to notice Tonks for the moment, his blood was running though his veins like acid. "Just get out then if you are sick at the sight of me, I never caused this! all I have done is put my neck out for it, well if this is the way you are all going to act towards me, for some silly reason, then I am not going to help, nor teach, this is where I live, so you can jolly well get out untill you can think straight and realise what you have caused me!"

His teeth gritted against one another "I can;t take this.. you have ruined me.. " He gulped his wine down before going up the stairs and to his room to get his things, he couldn't believe what they were doing, how there were treating him, Remus had only tried to help, didn;t they know Harry enough to know he wan't himself even Pandora, Hunter and Albus knew.
